Ahmad Siddiqi will read from his unpublished novel, The Jewelled City, the first in a trilogy exploring the Khilafat of Hunayn, a fantasy kingdom loosely inspired from medieval ‘Islamicate’ (Middle East / South Asia) culture and history.
